Sculptra® is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) dermal filler that gradually restores facial volume by stimulating your body's natural collagen production. Following the proper pre and post treatment instructions helps support collagen formation, minimize side effects, and achieve smooth, natural looking results that continue to improve over time.

If approved by your healthcare provider, avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, and alcohol for several days before treatment to help reduce bruising. Never stop prescription medications without your physician's guidance.
Come to your appointment with clean skin that is free of makeup, lotions, and sunscreen on the treatment area whenever possible. This helps prepare your skin for treatment.
Tell your provider about any medications, allergies, recent cosmetic procedures, dental work, or medical conditions so your treatment plan can be customized for your needs.
Massage the treated area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days, or as instructed by your provider. This helps distribute the product evenly and supports optimal collagen stimulation.
Apply a cold compress as directed and avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, excessive heat, and heavy lifting for at least 24 hours. Mild swelling, tenderness, redness, bruising, or small bumps are common and usually resolve as your skin heals.
Avoid makeup for the first 24 hours and resume gentle skincare afterward. Delay dental work, vaccinations, surgeries, tattoos, and other injectable treatments for the period recommended by your provider to allow proper healing.
